On May 12, 2024, NewSound Technology celebrated its 20th Anniversary. Under the theme "Together All the Way, Singing the NewSound," employees and guests gathered for a day of celebration, including facility tours, technical forums, and a grand banquet. It was a day filled with passion and gratitude, honoring two decades of remarkable growth and shared memories.

 

 

 

Moving stories, vivid photos, and time-worn artifacts silently recount NewSound’s 20-year entrepreneurial journey. They bear witness to every milestone—from the hardships of the early days to the moments of rising prominence. This history serves as a lighthouse, guiding and inspiring every NewSounder to forge ahead. We remain committed to our founding mission—"To make people hear better"—and will continue to honor it through our actions.

 

 

 

 

 

As night fell, the grand banquet commenced. The venue was brilliantly lit and elegantly decorated, brimming with a festive and jubilant atmosphere.

Dignitaries from all levels, experts, scholars, and partners—many of whom have stood by and witnessed NewSound Technology’s growth over the years—joined the entire NewSound staff for this spectacular celebration. The banquet officially began with a powerful and soul-stirring performance of Shèngshì Gǔwǔ (The Flourishing Age Drum Dance).

 

Wan Min, President of the Beijing Hearing Society, Lin Zhijun, President of the Xiamen Medical Device Association, and Wang Shirui, President of the Central South University Southern Fujian Alumni Association, each delivered a speech.

With deep emotion, they recalled the years spent working alongside Mr. Yu and NewSound Technology, sharing unforgettable moments and joyful memories as if they were cherished treasures. Their humorous anecdotes drew frequent laughter from the audience, while their heartwarming stories unfolded like a series of vivid paintings in everyone's hearts. Amidst the laughter and joy, there was a shared sense of anticipation—a collective wish to gather once again for the next twenty years.

 

Mr. Yu continued his narration: "Since our founding in 2004, NewSound Technology has been driven by the mission to help people hear better. In 2005, we developed our first product prototype; every step since has been defined by persistence and dedication. From obtaining ISO certification in 2006 to the 2007 debut of our iconic 'Red & Blue' ITC models, NewSound fueled its growth through innovation, gradually making its mark on the global stage with products reaching Europe, the Middle East, and the United States.

Over the years, from the revolutionary rechargeable hearing aid in 2014 to the premium lithium-ion models in 2015 and the multi-form rechargeable series in 2019, every milestone has reflected our deep understanding of the market. This journey is not just a showcase of technical strength, but a testament to the unwavering determination of every NewSounder to forge ahead."

 

During the sharing session, Mr. Yu extended a special invitation to two guests—long-standing clients from the United States with whom he has shared a deep friendship for over a decade. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to them, and they exchanged carefully prepared gifts.

The audience erupted in warm applause, celebrating not only their enduring bond but also affirming and encouraging the dedication NewSound Technology has shown over the past twenty years. Standing on the 20th-anniversary stage, Mr. Yu was filled with emotion. He thanked friends from all walks of life for their companionship and support, firmly stating that NewSound Technology will remain true to its founding mission, forging ahead to empower hearing health and Sing the NewSound!

 

 

During the subsequent awards ceremony, NewSound Technology paid high tribute to its valued clients, outstanding suppliers, and loyal long-term employees. Having walked the same path through twenty years of challenges, it is their unwavering support and dedication that have enabled the company to move forward steadily.

Among the honorees were those who have stood by NewSound for the full two decades, witnessing each other's growth and triumphs. Others were veteran employees who have dedicated themselves selflessly, choosing one craft and committing a lifetime to it. Having spent countless days and nights with the company, their persistence and loyalty provide the continuous momentum driving NewSound Technology’s development.

 

 

The Xiamen Association of the Deaf and employee representatives showcased their spirit through a sign language dance titled "Nation." For those with hearing impairments, coordinating movements to the rhythm of music presents a significant challenge due to their sensory limitations. However, they overcame these obstacles, successfully interpreting the essence of the piece through precise sign language and graceful choreography, demonstrating an optimistic outlook on life and a resilient spirit.

This moving performance deeply touched everyone in attendance, particularly the industry experts dedicated to public hearing health. Moved by the performers' efforts to actively integrate into society, the experts spoke highly of the event for providing such an empowering stage for the hearing-impaired community.
